Does the queen ever go get fed from the feeder?

I have one of those mother lode feeders which has the cap and ladder to prevent drowning. https://www.motherlodeproducts.com/product/in-hive-feeders-with-cap-ladders-set-9-58-or-6-58/ Every time I fill it up though, the bees don't move out of the way and I'm worried a few of them drown each time. Does the queen ever go in there or do the workers get enough to feed the queen? Last year my queen died and I'm trying to figure out if the feeder was one of the reasons.
