What % do you give to church and why?

Gross or net? To church alone or also other groups/charities? How do you decide?

edit: I suppose I should start; We give a total of 10% gross split between our local church 5% and various missions & non profits that are local, national and international.

Some would argue that we should give 10% to church and then give to other groups above and beyond that, but I'm not sure we're going to be able to keep giving 10% with another kid on the way and moving house. I'm just curious how others think about this. It's not something I'm comfortable bringing up with folks at church, for various reasons.
