Click-baiters, Step Up Your Game
Hey click-bait authors!
Do you want to begin a low-content essay with the template "X was supposed to be the ultimate Y"?
Of course you do!
Here, for your convenience, is a list of fourteen things which Apple Itself has suggested are somehow Ultimate, with a link to Apple making the suggestion!
Now you can use the even stronger click-bait template "According to Apple, X was supposed to be the ultimate Y"!
Tasteful use:
- Allude, however briefly, to any qualifiers which Apple has placed on the claim.
- Do not pretend a claim about the ultimate nature of one thing is a claim about a different thing, such as { iPad Pro, iPad } or { Rocking out, dozing off }.
- Do not use the "X was supposed to be the ultimate Y" template when there is no evidence of anyone sensible suggesting that the thing was ultimate. Feel free to substitute "I genuinely believed that X would be the ultimate Y".
