Refused package - no update to tracking

I have a refused package on 4/6 going back to California.  The tracking is updated to show that it was being sent back to sender.   Tracking is USPS: 9405511699000063854162

But there has not been a single update since 4/6 that it made back.

 Is this wait time unusual? What should I do next?
