Has anyone been able to map things to a controller while using a wheel?

basically im driving with my logitech g25 and i want to map the stick on my xbox controller as an analog ebrake until i spend money on a better solution. my issue is when i start the game it wont recognize any inputs from the wheel. i also mapped my turbo/brake adjustments to the controller. now the everything i mapped to the controller is working but its also seeing the default commands(Y is mapped to ABS- but also changes camera). as far as i can see you cant really disable anything in AC for the controller so im at a loss. im thinking this wont work as im not finding anything on google but figured id try here
