Yami Marik is a TERRIBLE duelist (Yu-gi-oh!)

Marik was one of the end of arc villains in Yu-gi-oh so you'd expect he'd be suitably strong to provide a threat and be menacing.

Yet the only reason he's any kind of threat is cause he has the strongest god, Winged Dragon of Ra, and a few other good cards in his deck. He's a TERRIBLE duelist.

He dueled like 4 times.
1: He dueled against Bakura and only won cause he pulled out a bs power of Ra that Yami Bakura wasn't aware of.
2: He dueled against Mai, and only won by the fact that apparently you need to say a special Egyptian chant to summon Ra, something no one could have known about and is illegal in most tournaments, not to mention the fact that Mai should have won just by attacking since she had multiple monsters on the field and he had one monster with 500 ATK and NO spell/trap cards. If she had just attacked she would have won.
3: He dueled against Jounounchi and Jounouchi was ABOUT TO WIN if he didn't pass out from the pain of the duel.
4: He dueled against Yugi....and lost.

Marik legit only won any of his duels cause of Ra's raw power, and via PIS. To make things even worse he isn't even a very serious duelist spending most of his time stalling and trying to torture his opponents.
