Does anyone have a succesful heavy deck without pump?

After being tired of losing with my Hog deck (I dropped from 3350 to 3000) I made this deck:

Giant (7) - Executioner (4) - Bowler (4) - Prince (5) - Princess (2) - Mega Minion (7) - Poison (4) - Zap (9).

It has an average elixir cost of 4.0! I tested this first in a classic challenge and I did a shit run of 2-3. Then I gave it one more chance in ladder and I won 6 or 7 in a row! I know a lot of times we get lucky with matchmaking, but I really liked these results and now I'm with 3250 trophies!

My question here is: Does a 4.0 deck need Elixir Collector? Do you guys have a heavy deck without pump and it's performing surprisingly well? Thanks mates!
