I intend to purchase some art from an amateur artist friend in Moscow when I visit her in June - will I need an export permit?

Привет!

I am traveling to Moscow for a week in June and the friend whom I am visiting is making me some large-scale reproductions of two of her drawings that I fell in love with. Will I need an export permit to bring them home with me to the US? I have been reading some conflicting information about whether or not artworks produced in the last 50 years require a permit or a certificate that they aren't culturally significant, so any help is appreciated!
