In the market

This is my first time on here, so feel free to direct me to previous postings. I am in the market for a new cello. I am junior in college and have been playing cello sixth 6th grade; so going on 10 years. I still have the crappy laminate-backed cello my parents got for me in 6th grade. I can get some decent sounds out of it, but the overall sound production is pretty quiet. I have recently have realized others in my college orchestra simply have a wider sound production range than I do. My top dollar is $6,000, but would prefer under $5,000 if possible. I want a richer and warmer sound that has the power to project.
