My pants don't fit.
I've been on a ketogenic diet for a few months now, due to issues of the neurological sort. I haven't, as far as I can tell, lost a pound. My weight has hovered around 165 for years, and I've never been overweight. I was at the doctor a few days ago, and my weight was 167 with all my clothes on, as usual. Conversely, I've slowly been taking all my pants in at the waist. My shirts still fit the same in the neck and chest--actual button down shirts with collars--but my pants are all falling down and look a bit baggy in the butt. I've had to tighten up my belt by a notch. Most of my pants were pretty tight in the waist back in January, and I only wore a belt out of habit. I took one pair in by 2 inches and I still need a belt!
It's interesting that even though I wasn't overweight to begin with, and am not actually losing pounds, my body composition is improving. And it's happening far more quickly than I would've thought.
Due to not doing it for weight loss reasons, I haven't been counting calories for any reason other than making sure I'm getting enough. I always hit or go over 2000, often get near 3000, and a few times I've hit 4000. Macadamia nuts and heavy cream lattes are pretty easy to consume without realizing how many calories you're taking in.
Exercise is the same as before--hiking and bicycling.
