Cytometer flow cell is totally busted :(

Our lab's accuri c6 failed catastrophically recently. Started with weirdly high event counts and backflow into the sample tube, and went critical when fluid started leaking into the optical assembly (which, thankfully, seems to be fine; it just got a bit wet). I did some investigative surgery, and found that the quartz capillary tube in the flow cell actually cracked (and of course it's out of warranty). I'm waiting on a quote from BD, but in the meantime, I'm wondering - has anyone had this happen to their instrument? If so, how much time and money did it take to fix?
