What do you talk about in between dates?

So in between dates I struggle to find things to talk about through texting. We text each other the generic good morning / night and how was your day, miss you, etc but not really anything else.

Is this normal, or do you guys have meaningful conversations via text to hold off until the next date? What kind of things do you talk about and how often do you message each other? Just curious on how you guys approach this part of the relationship. I'm also not that into sexting so I don't know what else to text about.
