Need help finding a winter jacket (warm but fashionable)

Hey all, Not sure if this is the right subreddit, but I need help finding a winter jacket that looks good but is actually made for winter. I'm going to college in Vermont, so I'll need to dress accordingly so as not to catch hypothermia and die walking to class. I'd still love to look good, however, so I'd rather not wear a bright neon ski jacket or something...maybe something more conservative. Thanks!
