Question regarding moving states with a trust.

Hey guys, hoping someone has some experience with this as I'm getting conflicting reports based on doing internet research on my own. I recently moved from MS to TN. In MS I had a trust I started which I added my father to. I bought and put 3 silencers on (prior 41F) while living in MS. So I just bought an Osprey online from an out of state dealer and he's going to transfer to my local TN SOT for paperwork. I didn't even think before purchasing if I am able to do this since my trust is from MS. Is there a procedure I need to do to transfer my trust from MS to TN so I can legally purchase from my TN SOT? My father still lives in MS, do I need to take him off the trust since I'm in TN now? Thanks for the help

edit: all the answers I'm finding are prior to July 2016 so I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with the new rules
