Inspection Sticker Mutilated

(Jamaica Queens, NY) I was given this aforementioned ticket. I noticed that he/she had not mentioned why my ticket was mutilated.

I had recently got my windshield replaced by Safelite and had them reapply my stickers. I'm certain this is the reason why. Can I fight this? I have been given the same ticket again, so I now have two of these. I have to drive my car though, and park across from my job.
