Advanced Uses of QLab

AUDIO

Hi all, hope this is okay to post.

I am a second year Theatre Production student at Bath Spa University and I am currently researching into how QLab could take over all aspects of live theatre control.

QLab is currently one of the go-to program for audio and is used heavily for projection. With the recent release of QLab 4 it can natively control lighting fixtures over Art-Net. Through protocols like Open Sound Control (OSC) and Midi Show Control (MSC) it can also control a variety of different pieces of equipment.

Specifically in small touring companies, QLab is used to replace members of crew - the role of a sound op is replaced with a deputy stage manager.

If you could take a couple of minutes to fill out this form it'd be greatly appreciated - https://goo.gl/forms/7bTWk7lhuivBg2462

Many thanks,

tl;dr: researching into advanced uses of QLab, created a questionnaire https://goo.gl/forms/7bTWk7lhuivBg2462
