So there's this cat..
I've taken to calling him Walnut. He is a stray. I call him Walnut because he has deformed front paws, it makes him hobble, and look like he's trying to carry some walnuts. I met him last summer once, I gave him some turkey and he was too afraid to come anywhere near me. I assumed he died this last winter, but here he is. Today, after a few days of food and cooing at him, he let me rub his belly. I can't take him in, I've already adopted a neighborhood cat on top of the two I had before. I want to take him to a shelter where they can clean him up and get him adopted. I'm calling scraps when they open today but I just wanted to take a swing at generating interest in a cat that really could use some love. He has a survivor's will, I don't know how he's made it this long.
