Help!

I just had a good conversation with my grandfather and the Russia ban. He quoted a New York times article about it. So later on I brought up the ARC and said im pretty sure New York Times that too. He said "That never happened." And I said "Hold on, you just used NYT for JWs, you can't say anti JW articles are wrong." He told me to sent him the link. I have to work today, but I want to get to the bottom of this fast. Like tonight. Can I send you guys on a hunt for me? NYT, Washington post. ABC. NBC, are the main news outlets he follows. Can you guys help me out in finding what he finds to be proof?
