Socrates vs. Laozi in a US presidential election

Both are given one month to adjust to modern life, with a clear briefer packet on all modern issues, tech, etc. They also both speak fluent English.

Voters do not know that they're the ancient philosophers. They're running under false identities.

Round 1: Republican Socrates vs. Democrat Laozi.

Round 2: Democrat Socrates vs. Republican Laozi.

Round 3: No party affiliations, but they're the only ones running.

Edit: Okay, with resurrection, they both get a race & nationality change. They're white, and have no publicly-known affiliation with Greece or China. Also, both will try to win, regardless of wu wei and any other philosophical objections to campaigning.
