Perpetual Grow Venting Question

I am designing my setup and it has proved costly, so I'm attempting to save money where I can. I have a 48x32x60" for veg/possibly a couple autos and am ordering a 4x4' Apollo for flower. My question is, could I get away with connecting the two tents w/ducting and only purchasing one large carbon filter and 6" fan for the flowering tent? Or would this be ill-advised? Odor control is critical. Would a booster fan help? Thanks all!
