One week ago I installed Linux for the first time...

Today I uninstalled windows and set up a VM with PCI passthrough, saying goodbye to the last reason I kept windows dual boot. Using the console is an absolutely amazing experience, coming from nearly two decades of windows I finally feel like I control my software. If something breaks I can fix it. I can break it in ways I never even thought possible, but my god is it fun to figure out why something broke. If Windows is a triple A game then Linux is the indepth text adventure you miss from your childhood. Props to the great community, especially Arch/Manjaro and Linux Mint. This is certainly a very different experience to the crappy Linux machines from 15 years ago we had to use in school.
