Did you ever hear the tragedy of Oasis the Freeport Citadel?

I thought not. It's not a story the Bittervets would tell you. It's a Carebear legend. Oasis was a Freeport of Anoikis, so unpopulated and ineptly run it could use Wormholes to influence the poor businesspeople to blame it for their mistakes... It had such a knowledge of the art of fundraising that it could even keep the structures it cared about from dying. The Casual side of the game is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. It became so powerful... the only thing it was afraid of was losing its station, which eventually, of course, it did. Unfortunately, it taught its apprentice everything it knew, then its apprentice killed it in his sleep. Ironic, it could save others from boredom, but not itself.
