Which is easier to produce, IE Biodiesel or TE Refined Fuel?

Having reached mid-game in Nuts and Bolts Torqued, I have a strong feeling my water wheels won't cut it for a quarry + other machines and farms. I was thinking of going with a Diesel Generator from IE, since I don't really want to do IC2 Nuclear Power.

From my testing, it appears Biodiesel and Refined Fuel are the two types of fuel it accepts, so I wanted to know which one I should produce to fuel it? Note I do not have an automated farm set up at the moment, so I'm not exactly swimming in seeds.
