So my Switch seemingly bricked after an online match on Puyo Puyo Tetris. I have a repair order, but anyone have some last ditch remedy that might work?
I am basically trying anything that doesn't void my warranty to possibly wake my switch back up. I have talked to nintendo and they were helpful in trying things and then ultimately getting my order. I was playing an online match in Tetris and won and while it was going to results screen (it said it was saving) the wheel stopped moving and eventually it went to a black screen with an error code that I didn't have enough time to copy down as it went to a full black screen.
I've tried holding the power button for several lengths of time, and I've tried plugging it directly to the power source or docking it while holding the button. I've held the power button down with the volume buttons (as Nintendo had me try). I've tried a lot of different things, but I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas that might have worked for them before I send this off.
I am asking because they are saying it will take 2-3 weeks and Mario Kart is coming out in 2 days. They also said they stopped cross shipping last month so I wasn't able to do that either. If I can get this thing back on it's feet I'd be appreciative, but if not you guys get some good races in for me ;~; I'll be stuck switchless for a while. I do have Persona 5 to play at least, but I was hype for Mario Kart 8 and my new Puyo Puyo Tetris copy.
Edit: Thank you for the support and help guys. I tried everyone's suggestions and I think it's really dead so I have it packed up. The repair place isn't far from me (5-6 hours) so at least when it's done it should come to me quickly.
Edit 2: So I bought a new Switch on Amazon Prime to hold me off lol. Imma be karting with you guys anyways! (its still up as of 4-27-17 2:53PM EST if you have prime link is here its gone now.)
Edit 3: Omg this is a sick joke. Mario Kart 8 came a day early too! Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! http://imgur.com/a/ZXktR
