My girlfriend had an ultrasound done today and found she has early stage Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). She's very worried how this will affect her chances of getting pregnant; can anyone who's gone through this share their experience?

She's still waiting for a confirmation from her GP so nothing is final just yet but it's worrying her a lot what this will do to her health and fertility. We're still a long way away from having a child together and I've read that with treatment it is very possible to have a normal pregnancy. Also any tips on how to reassure her would be great.
