Where can one buy decent quality animal minis?

My girlfriend's daughter wants to try minipainting. I have all the brushes and paints to get started, but blood bowl and warhammer minis aren't her thing lol.

She wants animals. She loves horses. Where can I find some simple minis that won't break the bank?
