Question about Main Story

Do I have to do it to get access to all the content? I skip all the cut scenes, I fast click all text. It's weak of me. I know. But I legit do not care about the story or the lore even a little bit. I'm sure it's good, but I just want this games mechanics and class structure and of course: the loot. I don't need a motivation to kill stuff. But it seems that all the dungeons are walled behind main arch, is there no way around this?
