Mandela Effect/Multiverse Theory and Alice in Wonderland- RABBITS
Hey, so I'm new to reddit (in general but this one specifically by extension) but none of my friends listen to Rabbits so I'm turning here to voice a theory. Sorry if it's already been discussed, I don't want to read back loads. So the most recent episode (105) lent more evidence to this- I'm thinking the whole series is leading up to the reveal that this ARG actually reveals, or partially takes place in an alternate reality. It explains all the Mandela Effect stuff and the photos that don't make sense with this reality. I think the Priesthood One reveal is going to be that in an alternate reality Carly did finish the comic and there are some clues or something in the full version. I've glimpsed at theories about her brother too which are interesting, I'll take a deeper dive on those.
Also, it's an Alice in Wonderland thing, right? We've twigged that? I had suspicions when it was called Rabbits but the podcast itself doesn't reference AiW at all which is odd with all the rabbit stuff, and rabbithole stuff (I don't think they've made a single "Down the rabbithole" reference which is suspicious by omission). And in one episode Carly says that things were getting "weirder and weirder", an obvious paraphrasing of "curiouser and curiouser". I don't know how Yumiko fits into things but the Magician is the Hatter or the Cheshire Cat. I couldn't figure out Jones for a while but in the scene with the Magician he kept being like "Can we hurry this up" making me think he's the white rabbit, always concerned about time (or a kind of whitehat hacker rabbit? Eh?). I'd previously thought he'd be the Cheshire Cat because of the Catchat app and that theory still has some weight. In that case Yumiko would be the White Rabbit, the inciting incident, the thing to chase to get into wonderland or the game. Carly as the protagonist is Alice. There were two men in grey and I thought they might be tweedle dee and tweedle dum figures but can't say for sure. Interested to see if we get a dodo or Red Queen or Walrus and Carpenter or Duchess and pig baby moving forward. The stuff about mirrors in the bonus episode also had an Alice Through the Looking Glass feel too.
Thoughts? Again, sorry if this repeats any existing theory stuff, I'm new here. These thoughts are my own but I don't claim that they're exclusively mine.
