Video Games are Better Without Stories

I thought it was criminal that the Dark Souls series wasn't mentioned once in this article. That being said it was very well written and I feel like it gets to the meat of why we get so obsessed with the "lore" of these games.

It's not about story quality, complexity or how vague the story is made. It's about the quest to uncover it. With it's relentless challenge and indirect storytelling, Soulsborne tugs at my curiosity in ways that no game series ever has.
