My parents want to give away our two dogs

I'm conflicted. We've had these dogs for five years, I thought they were part of our family, yet they're being given away. We've had other pets given away at the excuse of them being too messy or too much to take care of. I'm the only one who cares for them, and I don't get a say in this even though I pay rent, take them on walks, care for them, and buy their food.

My two best friends, who have been there when I was depressed, when I was heart broken, when I needed to talk to someone, are going to be gone BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO MESSY! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD I CAN COMPLY WITH THEM STAYING OUTSIDE LIKE THEY SAID!

I hope keeping your carpet clean was worth it, even though the stains were caused by my younger siblings.
