Just had an interesting call from a probationer.

I received a call from a probationer with a drinking problem who was looking to do community service hours. He wasn't looking to attend meetings to meet a judge's requirements. He was thinking he could clean up and set up for community service hour credit. I've had calls from problem drinkers wanting to attend Al-Anon meetings to meet the judge's requirement that they attend a certain number of AA meetings, but I have never had someone wanting to get community service hours at Al-Anon. I invited him to call AA for meeting information.
