Bought my first Jeep! Any advice or suggestions?

As the title says, I got my first Jeep, a 2017 Renegade Latitude 4x4! I love just about everything about it, but am still getting used to it. Any suggestions to add to it, or advice on using some features would be much appreciated! Specifically with the shifter controls; I know I can choose what gear to use, but whats the best way to use that feature, and when? Thanks guys!
