Destroyer Ancient Ruins multiplayer bug

Is there anyway to stop this from happening? Me and my brother have lost our characters twice due to this bug. He showed up all 3 times we went to the Ancient Ruins but we were only lvl 30 and hadn't done any quests previously. It's honestly making it unplayable.
