oculus medium with hdk2 ?

hi everyone. im interested about hdk2 for VR sculpt with "medium" from oculus, and maybe tilt brush for my childs. i see the hdk2 cost 500€ all tax in EU, is max pricetag i can put on a "true" VR device. so, did i will can sculpt "out of the box" if i take this OSVR device ?
