Can I run multiple play applications in the same JVM?

Is it possible to run multiple play applications in the same JVM?

The idea would be to deploy multiple apps together for example in a dev environment where they are underused. Currently in production they are being deployed separately for performance reasons and for concern separation reasons.

Is there a way to avoid the memory and possible CPU overhead of multiple JVMs?

Edit: Other important use case would be Enterprise deployments. Since most Enterprise clients do not need the scale, they just want their private version
