Picking up fizz as a secondary champ. Question to fizz mains.

Hi fizz mains! I've recently bought fizz since he seems do to so well in my lane (top lane) and his build path is so similar to my main champion (Jax). So similar that I build 5/6 same items on fizz as I do Jax. However, the 6th item that I want to build on fizz that I build on Jax is my second favorite on Jax, and I feel would fit fizz really well: titanic hydra. From what I've noticed, fizz benefits hugely with titanic hydra.

1. It gives you even more insane burst damage. If you hydra active and immediately aa reset:w it adds hardly any time, but gives you something like 500 aoe damage to the targets. I don't think any squishy could survive your full combo if you added the hydra active in here.
2. Waveclear. It might just be my inner Jax, but I do like to split a lot with fizz. Hydra let's him clear waves faster and without going oom nearly as fast.
3. Aoe damage, which allows for better teamfighting.

Granted I know GA/zhonyas on fizz allows for you to suicide for someone and make it out alive whenever the active is up. But I fee like totnaics benefits outweigh its costs. Lmk what you think below. I'll try to try both builds out within the next couple days myself.
