[Toronto] How and where to get tested?

First relationship for both BF and I. We are wondering how we would go about getting tested/ what do you even ask for?

-Do you just get tested for HIV? Which test do we ask for?

-Do we talk to our family doctor about getting tested or are there centers where you can do this?

-How much does it cost? Do we make an appointment?
