Question about transfers and gap years

I just got accepted as a transfer student to CSUN, but am not able to afford the 2017 - 2018 school year. When I applied, I had full intention of attending. At this time I do not receive any aid, but will for the coming 2018 - 2019 year. Does CSUN allow a gap year for transfers (I think most schools do for high school applicants) or should I reapply this Fall? I have a few more days to accept my intent to register but have no idea what to do. Thanks in advance for any advice! :)
