T470s weak cooling performance

My knowledge on computer parts and how they perform is limited. I'm considering the t470s but I read on Notebookcheck that the weak cooling performance reduces the i7 processor performance. Are they testing it at full capacity? Meaning, are they pushing the t470s to its limits in order to determine how it handles a lot of activity or is this just casual use? With that said, I am a student so much of what I will be doing revolves around Microsoft Office, large Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Project, internet, Netflix/YouTube, etc. I am not running labor intensive software programs, massive databases, editing videos/photo's, gaming, etc. Based on my use, will this cooling issue reduce my i7 processor performance? Thanks!
