Visa process, stuck in Sharjah, AMER and eDNRD no help

Hey

I organised for my friend to take visa change in Sharjah to Oman, she went first thing this morning, the application was showing on the website as:

"YOUR ENTRY PERMIT REQUEST IS PROCESSED"

Since 10 AM this morning, there is no change.

I have chased the company who say they are pressing for it to be issued.

I was assured by the them that the visa would be issued same day or at latest next morning [tomorrow] but people in the airport with my friend are saying it takes at least 3 days and she will be stuck there over the weekend.

I was told they made "urgent" application, and that since the application is showing on the system, that means it's almost complete, but to me it means that they've only received the application, for all I know it's sat under a pile of 200 others...

Can anyone shed any light on the process? AMER service is not helping at all, even refusing to take the application number to check...

I really can't have her stuck there over the weekend, it's stressing her out. For now I have put her in the hotel in the airport.

To update, she is now out! Visa status changed at 7AM and then by 10AM visa letter was issued.

So only one night in the airport, thankfully.
