Didn't do community service for over a year, but not sure if I had a deadline.

This is Indiana. Terms are ~40 hours and the charge gets dismissed, a Level A misdemeanor for Paraphernalia. My lawyer told me when i got convicted that I had a year, and I did 30 hours in that year and lost my volunteer sheet. Got discouraged, lost a month because I put it in the back of my head, now I'm looking at my judgement of conviction and underlined says "upon application", and the blank is empty for "after ____ (time) with no probable cause for additional criminal offenses, and completion of ~40 hours of community service". So on the blank there's no time, and conviction says dismissal after completion. So by default does that mean I had a year, or that I just need to complete them when I can?

Honestly, I know I should talk to my lawyer about this, but I'm just upset about the situation that I put myself in and wanted to confirm my thoughts.

Edit: Also, I wasn't on probation, just diversion, but it isn't my first drug charge.
