Crafting BF skin with essence

I wouldn't ask if i had enough essence to try it obviously. So If I understood what I read in the 2.4 notes the skin will be available in special mystery chests at first, then be available for direct purchase with ICE before then being available in the card boxes. But the legendary cards are already in the crafting menue so if you had 5760 (16x360) essence left over, could you already get it?
