I'm interested in joining the Church as an adult convert. Where to start?

Sorry if this is an oft repeated question, I didn't see anything in the sidebar. I grew up Baptist, have been mostly agnostic since my developmental years, and am now interested in joining the Catholic faith or at least getting involved to a certain degree through my growing sympathies for it through philosophy. Where do I even start? I'm very familiar with Catholic belief and doctrine, but when it comes to modern-day tradition, I am essentially lost.
