Checking/Savings/Investment suggestions?
Been reading a lot of the threads and they are usually seeking advice about how to get out of one hole or another, so I hope I'm not asking anything taboo.
My wife and I are getting to a point where we are transitioning to saving a lot. Between $1,000 And $2,000 per month. We have about $30,000 in savings. I'd like to keep $25,000 readily available and invest everything above that, mostly index funds.
I'm trying to find a good bank that has a decent savings/money market rate, easily accessible atms/deposits but I also want something that I can easily transfer money to an investment account. Does anyone have suggestions? We are in central Massachusetts. I looked at Capital One but there aren't convenient ATMs. Ideally I would like to transfer money every paycheck directly to the brokerage account with just a few buttons.
