The majority of console balance problems are caused by excessive aim assist
It doesn't matter how fast you are going, or how good your movement is, if an enemy manages to ADS on top of you, he is going to kill you and miss very few shots doing it. The snap honestly looks like aim bots on PC sometimes. It's usually not that bad obviously, but if you combine someone with good aim and aim assist it's just silly.
Flatline: sounds great on paper, heavy damage, heavy recoil. Except you can consistently get kills without missing a shot, so it's pretty much just heavy damage.
R101/201: well balanced on paper. But again, you frequently get kills without missing a shot.
G2: more problems than just aim assist, but not really the point of my post
SMGs: yes, their aim assisted is too strong, but good players (at least the ones that kill me) rarely ADS with them, which mostly mitigates the problem. The car and voltage are most notable since they are ADS a lot more frequently.
All other guns are fine. If aim assist is reduced, then console and PC balance would be a lot more similar, and there would be far fewer complaints about guns being overpowered on one platform and underpowered on the other.
What do you guys think?
TL;DR There is an aim assist problem on console I just recorded a gif of this R-201 camper's seemingly perfect aim
