What's the best way to spend gems?

I don't trust my skills much for grand challenges, i was thinking about keeping them until i get a SMC but even though i play for months i only have 1800 gems, so dunno.

This is my deck btw: http://clashroyaledeckbuilder.com/viewDeck/249224
