How do you make a cassette mixtape?

I moved to another country and I have strong feelings for this friend of mine. And of course I wanted something to help her remember me or to tell her how I feel in a cliche romantic way. What better than an old fashioned Mixtape.

What do I need to buy? What materials? Everything in google just tells me "which music to choose, how to tell a story, etc" but nothing that actually teaches you to make one.

I have a laptop, what else do I need and where can I get them?
