Looking to start Wolves in prep for 8th. Need some assembly advice!

Hi, I'm looking to start a Space Wolves army ready for the new edition as 'm particularly draw to Logan Grimnar, Thunderwolves, Wulfen and the Stormwolf flyer (basic troops not so much as I already have Ultramarines! xD)

Would it be best to wait until the new rules are released or get the stuff and just leave the weapons off until we know optimum builds?
