A/C repair: cost to replace condenser?

Hi, apparently my A/C condenser blew out. I was quoted price to replace with new at $4k-$7k, depending on choices we make, 10 year warranty. Does this price range make sense?

For what it's worth, the same tech that diagnosed this issue just sold us a $160 electric switch a week ago for this very condenser.
