Wooden or metal chopsticks

My friend and I got in an argument about whether or not I should buy wooden or metal chopsticks due to sanitation issues. I prefer wood because it feels more natural and not as heavy, I would assume. I don't have a problem with cleaning them a little harder if they are wooden. What do you think?
